☀️ Step into the sun-drenched kitchens of the Mediterranean! Inspired by a vibrant, rich culinary culture, this hands-on baking class celebrates the bright citrus, crunchy nuts, and golden honey that define the region's sweet side. Join us to bake your way from the coast of Italy to the markets of North Africa. Learn how to properly bake with phyllo dough, the science of flourless cakes, and tips and tricks for working with semolina and alternative flours, plus many other valuable baking skills. This class is for anyone aged 16 and up.
Menu:
- The Iconic Baklava – Layers of crisp, paper-thin phyllo pastry packed with spiced chopped nuts and drenched in a luscious, fragrant honey syrup.
- Torta Caprese – A classic, wildly decadent flourless chocolate and almond cake hailing from the beautiful island of Capri. It's rich, fudgy, and naturally gluten-free.
- Makroud – A traditional North African gem featuring a golden semolina dough stuffed with sweet, spiced date paste, gently baked, and kissed with a touch of honey.
