Spend a fun, flavor-packed morning at Capital Cooks while the grown-ups get a well-deserved break to rest, recover, or start their weekend shopping! In this hands-on, social baking workshop, young chefs will recreate iconic coffeehouse classics from scratch. Along the way, they’ll master key culinary techniques, build kitchen confidence, and make new friends—all while making delicious treats to enjoy. For ages 8-14.
Menu:
- Homemade English Muffin Breakfast Sandwiches: Kids will mix, bake, and split authentic English muffins from scratch, then stack them high with fluffy eggs, savory ham, and melted cheese for the ultimate breakfast bite.
- Cranberry Bliss Bars: Soft, spiced blondies loaded with sweet dried cranberries, topped with a rich cream cheese frosting, and finished with a white chocolate drizzle.
- Strawberry Açaí Refreshers: A crisp, fruity, handcrafted beverage shaken with ice, real fruit flavors, and sweet strawberry pieces for the perfect coffeehouse drink clone.
Allergen/Dietary Notice: The following items will be used in class: gluten, pork (optional), eggs and dairy.
