Are you feeling the call of fall? Let’s explore some fabulous wines as the weather changes. Together, we will discover playful bottles for the warm days and cool nights of fall and versatile wines for rich and varied holiday menus. Pull out your favorite sweater and join us as we try new wines, award-winning local cheeses, and fun pairings. You’re guaranteed to find a new favorite and have a thoroughly enjoyable time.
This event is a tasting and learning experience, with plenty to learn, but also time to talk, share and socialize with other participants. This is a fun, group learning celebration.
This class is permitted for students 21 years of age and older.
Tasting Menu:
- Italicus spritz with shrimp cocktail and herbed ricotta toasts
- Red Vermouth with New York’s award-winning Jake’s Aged Gouda, prosciutto and jam
- Chilled Italian Frapatto with charred eggplant, burrata and fried capers
- French Cabernet Franc with roast chicken and fennel-apple salad
- Fingerlakes Riesling with meyer lemon cookies, goat cheese, grilled figs
