Join us for a hands-on workshop all about gluten-free pierogi! Learn to make tender GF pierogi dough from scratch and fill it with classic favorites as well as creative twists. Chef Dan will lead you through the process so you can enjoy the pierogi you remember—without the gluten. This class is permitted for students 16 years of age and older.
Menu:
-Gluten-Free Pierogi Dough:
Millet and rice flour dough with fresh chives — tender inside, crisp when pan-fried, just like traditional pierogi.
-Potato & Cheddar Filling:
Homemade mashed potatoes blended with sharp cheddar for a classic, comforting filling.
Farmer’s Cheese Filling:
Lightly seasoned/ sweetened farmer’s cheese, creamy and balanced.
Melted Apples & Onions:
Slowly cooked apples and onions, sweet and savory, served on the side.
Allergen/Dietary Notice: Please be aware that the following items will be used in class: dairy and egg.

About Chef Dan: Dan Hurlbut has spent over 20 years in the food industry. His greatest joy is sharing his love of cooking with his two daughters, who have grown up creating delicious dishes alongside him. After being diagnosed with celiac disease, Dan was inspired to rework many of his favorite recipes to be gluten-free. He’s passionate about helping others build confidence in the kitchen while enjoying bold flavors and reimagined classics.
