Viva Portugal! In October we're exploring the soulful wines of Portugal through an all-Portuguese wine pairing menu. Whether you're an explorer at heart, dreaming of the Algarve coast, chasing a little saudade, or just here for the vinho, join us for a fun-filled exploration of Portuguese wines paired with a delicioso menu of Portuguese delights.
Tasting Menu:
- Vinho Verde with seared shrimp, queijo fresco, and pimenta moida
- Branco with presunto and melon
- Douro red with seared chouriço, blistered shishito, and oil-cured black olives
- Dão tinto with charred beef and grapes and aged sheep’s cheese
- Tawny port with pastéis de nata
Allergen/Dietary Notice: The following items will be used in class: shellfish, beef, pork, dairy. Both gluten and gluten-free accompaniments will be available.
